Acceptable Use Policy

It is important to Uplimit that its learners and teachers feel safe. This policy outlines the rules that govern our online community and your use of the Services. If we believe you have violated this Acceptable Use Policy, we may suspend, disable, or terminate your access to all or part of the Services. We may remove or edit inappropriate content or activity identified by or reported to us.
You are prohibited using our Services or sharing content in a way that:
  1. Harasses or is abusive of learners, teachers, or anyone in our online community.
  2. Contains illegal or inappropriate content or promotes illegal activities with the intent to commit such activities.
  3. Contains credible threats or organizes acts of real violence.
  4. Creates a genuine risk of physical injury or property damage, credibly threatens people or public safety, or organizes or encourages harm.
  5. Violates intellectual property, privacy, or other rights. Do not share content that you do not have the right to share, claim content that you did not create as your own, or otherwise infringe or misappropriate someone else’s intellectual property or other rights (including your Organization’s). Always attribute materials used or quoted by you to the original copyright owner.
  6. Spams others. Do not share irrelevant or inappropriate advertising, promotional, multi-level marketing, or solicitation content.
  7. Otherwise violates our Terms of Use.

You also are not allowed to:
  1. Reproduce, transfer, sell, resell, or otherwise misuse any content from our Services, unless specifically authorized to do so.
  2. Do anything that violates local, state, national, or international law or breaches any of your contractual obligations or fiduciary duties, including duties with your Organization.
  3. Share your password, let anyone besides you access your account, or do anything that might put your account at risk.
  4. Attempt to access any other user's account.
  5. Access, tamper with, or use non-public areas of our systems, unless specifically authorized to do so.
  6. Break or circumvent our authentication or security measures or otherwise test the vulnerability of our systems or networks, unless specifically authorized to do so.
  7. Try to reverse engineer any portion of our Services.
  8. Try to interfere with any user, host, or network, for example by sending a virus, overloading, spamming, or mail-bombing.
  9. Use our Services to distribute malware.
  10. Use our Services or any functionality of our platform for anything other than for completing online courses or for pedagogical purposes.
  11. Impersonate or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.
  12. Encourage or help anyone do any of the things on this list.
