AI-Powered Learning in Action: How Procore and Databricks Drive Real Outcomes

From One-Person Team to 2,000+ Learners

When Rebecca joined Procore Technologies, she was solely responsible for training a fast-growing Product & Technology (P&T) engineering team of over 2,000 people. Traditional course creation took six to nine months for a single program, and by launch, the content felt stale. Measuring impact was nearly impossible. Her frustration? As you can imagine, off the charts.

But after teaming up with Uplimit, her program practically began creating itself. Powered by AI-driven course creation, Rebecca shaved development time from months to weeks and rolled out 40+ courses in a single year. The efficiency gains were staggering: a 95% reduction in content development time, with new courses built in just 3-5 hours. She also gained real visibility into skill progression.

But after a year of using Uplimit, Procore’s employee survey scores around “learn and grow” spiked by 10% year over year, proving these kinds of programs genuinely make a difference.

Databricks: Unlocking 94% Completion with Blended Learning

At Databricks, the challenge was different but just as inefficient. With a rapidly growing global customer base, Kathryn Kearney and Jody Soeira de Faria needed to deliver effective training to thousands of learners while keeping it engaging and impactful. Instructor-led training (ILT) gave great results, but it was expensive and capped at a 20:1 learner-to-instructor ratio. On the flip side, self-paced modules were easy to implement but suffered from 3–6% completion rates.

With Uplimit, Databricks combined the best parts of self-paced content with targeted instructor support—supercharged by AI. The result? A virtual, cohort-based approach that achieves a 94% completion rate and an 82% CSAT score. Efficiency gains included a 75% reduction in live ILT time, from 16 hours to just 4, while still driving impactful learning outcomes.

Learners got the flexibility they craved—access to relevant course materials on demand—without losing the personal touch that makes live sessions so impactful. Completion soared, and 91% of learners said the training directly improved their day-to-day work.
